It is a beautiful drive to the chalet located on a woodsy lot in the mountains of Mountain Lakes. Mountain Lakes is located in a beautiful mountain setting, and near a number of N.H. famous mountains. Only a few miles from the Appalachian Trail and The White Mountains National Forest. There is always something to do or a place to go hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, non-motorized boating, skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, ice skating or simply relaxing. Two beautiful lakes are just a short walk away. The town is quaint with country stores and covered bridges. The towns of Lincoln and Woodstock, about 30 minutes away, which is the home of Loon Mountain ski Resort, have plenty of shopping, excellent restaurants, movies, and even more of the typical New Hampshire sights.
